Water Safety for Kids

Water Safety for Kids

A child can drown in as little as one inch of water - which is usually quick and silent. They can lose consciousness after two minutes of submersion. The Danger Rangers empower kids on how to be safe and make the right safety decisions, while also having fun in and around water. Children understand the Danger Rangers because this award-winning series combines comedy and upbeat music to remind children to Think Safe, Play Safe and Be Safe.

Here are some water safety tips you can remind your kids!

If you have long hair, make sure to tie it up before getting in the water.
Always walk, not run, around a pool.
Remember kids, be safe and wear sunscreen before going outdoors.
Teach your kids to swim when they're ready, usually after age 4.
Read all warning signs before getting into the pool.
It's very important for kids to be safe around water!
